FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What if I do not receive a text message after a scheduled visit?
Call or text the office number (812-568-5051) directly, not the pet sitter’s number. Texts are answered during regular office hours. Please call outside of that time frame and your voicemail will be returned.
Do you only watch dogs?
No way! We don't blame you for thinking so given we're called Walkie Doggie, but we love cats, too... and all critters, for that matter. Not just the furry ones.
What is the cancellation policy?
-
No visit fee will be charged for any visit during the following time periods if cancelled a minimum of 14 days prior to the beginning of the period.
-
For the Warrick and Vanderburgh County 9-day Spring Break period, beginning with the first Saturday of Spring Break; For the Thanksgiving 4-day period, beginning with Thanksgiving Day through Sunday.
-
For the Christmas and New Year 11-day period, beginning on December 23rd and ending on January 2nd.
When do I receive a bill and how do I pay?
I’m a little far away from your location in Evansville, IN. Can you still help me with home pet services?
We hope so! Call or email us to find out. Additional mileage and/or time surcharges may apply.
If I hire you for animal sitting services, how will I give you my key?
Ideally we’d like to retrieve the key during our initial visit. An additional travel fee will be charged if we need to arrange a special trip.
Can I combine pet sitting and dog walking services?
Dog walking can be combined with any pet sitting service by request for no extra charge, as long as it’s possible to complete both services within the scheduled time.
Do you charge extra for pet sitting if I have multiple pets?
You pay for our time, not for each pet. As long as the scheduled time allows us to care for your whole fur family, there’s no extra charge for additional pets.
I’d feel more comfortable with a CPR certified pet sitter. Are you qualified to perform pet CPR?
We are! We’ll keep a close eye on your pets while they’re with us, so it’s unlikely they’ll need it, but all of our pet sitters and dog walkers are Pet First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross and equipped with Pet Care Services Association (PCSA) approved First Aid supplies. Just in case.
